Changes to the landscape and architecture at this house have been evolving over several seasons. There’s a long way to go, but the curb appeal is definitely a long way from where it started about 2 1/2 years ago:

The rather large bearded man who saw me taking an interest in his truck bumper softened considerably when I pointed out that I was using my cell phone to take the picture! Is this the coolest bike rack you have ever seen, or what? I love it. It is whimsical and utilitarian, the perfect integration of form and function. Looks like a racer participating in the Tour de France. Is that Lance Armstrong coming down the block…?
